The Field - Farmshop & Kitchen

Launching September 2026 We&#39;re looking for an energetic, passionate, and commercially minded Farm Shop &amp; Restaurant Manager to lead and grow our farmshop &amp; kitchen. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact - helping shape the future direction of the business, championing local produce, creating exciting events, and building a welcoming community space that people love to visit.You&#39;ll take ownership of the day-to-day operation, lead and develop the team, drive sales and profitability, ensure excellent food safety standards, and create exceptional customer experiences. What You&#39;ll Be Doing<ul><li>Leading the daily operation of the farmshop and kitchen/restaurant working closely with our fantastic head chef and the wider team. </li><li>Driving sales, profitability, and business growth.</li><li>Managing stock, labour, waste, and operational performance.</li><li>Developing seasonal promotions, events, workshops, and community activities.</li><li>Championing local suppliers and farm-produced products, working with our very own farm. </li><li>Delivering outstanding customer service and creating a destination experience.</li><li>Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team.</li><li>Maintaining exceptional food safety, health &amp; safety, and compliance standards.</li></ul> What We&#39;re Looking For<ul><li>Experience in retail, hospitality, farmshop, café, restaurant or food service management.</li><li>Strong leadership and people management skills.</li><li>Commercial awareness and a passion for delivering results.</li><li>A genuine enthusiasm for local food, farming, and community engagement.</li><li>Someone with the drive, creativity, and passion to take ownership and make things happen</li></ul> Staff perks:<ul><li>A paid day on our Kitchen Farm - Every year take a paid day away and spend it with our head grower on our own farm.
